According to French outlet RMC Sport, there’s a three-way battle about to take place between both Manchester clubs and PSG, to land Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos.
The German international has grown tired of the very little game he’s been given at the Bernabeu and a summer move is on the cards. The French champions seem to have stolen a march on the two Premier League giants, with reports stating that contact was first made with the player’s representatives last November. Real are said to have told the Parisian’s that Kroos will not leave for less than £35.5m.
The report also claims however, that the Red Devils will be prepared to better that offer with one of around £40 million. Pep Guardiola’s imminent arrival at Manchester City also puts them in the picture with the financial clout at their disposal. The Catalan tactician has already stated to the power brokers at the club, that he would be interested in taking the German World Cup winner.
